Associate Lecturer

Bath Spa University | Design for Repurpose of Existing Spaces in the Public Sphere

A course directed away from the new and temporary towards re-use & renovation; no less interesting and vital for designers to have the creative & innovative tools to reimagine space for continued adaptation.

Taught at Locksbridge Campus (with its own sustainability story) alongside architecture, furniture & product design for maximum cross-discipline exchange.

Career change

Course leader | The Interior Design School | Diploma & Certificate programmes

Industry focused courses and practical studio-based training for those changing direction; from core skills to professional practice, ideas to fabrication, and how to combine past experience with a new career.

Flexible day and evening programmes to suit busy lives: one day intro, individual and group training, on-line or round-table.

Kids | Schools

Schools visits | Careers talks | Five Things Summer school

Careers-sprint: designers, architects & engineers each give a 5 minute pitch on their day job, Q+A and a quick exercise to design a mixed-use space for kids and retirees.

Follow-on 5 Things Summer School is a longer look at what interior design is, the places it includes, things we do at work and alternative career options within the industry.

Never too young or too late to start talking careers and keeping doors open.
